The aim of this site is to provide information on Debian / Ubuntu linux that I have learnt over the months.

The information on this site started as a simple text file, which began when I started learning about Ubuntu.

Over time this has grown and I think it may prove useful to other people who are just starting out with a Debian based operating system.

These commands have been tested against Ubuntu 7.10 onwards and Debian Etch 4.0 but please be aware I do not guarantee these will work on your system.
You may need to re-jig the commands slightly as things change!
