Clearing VLC network history
Deleting the history when choosing a network stream
vim ~/.config/vlc/vlc-qt-interface.conf
Delete the history in the section [OpenDialog] which should look something like:
netMRL="http://abc.xyz", "..."
Also look under [RecentsMRL]
list=file://myfile.mp4, file://risque.avi
